Mahindra launches S4+ with dual front airbags, anti-lock braking system

NEW DELHI: The S4 variant getsadditional safety features including dual front airbags, anti-lock braking system  with seatbelt reminder warning electronic brakeforce distribution system (EBD) and panic brake indication.

Like S2 and S4, the S4+ also gets black side protective cover and steel wheels. Other higher variants are offered with body-coloured cladding, alloy wheels and the rear-wheel drive system.

The Scorpio S4+ is powered by a 2.2 litre, turbocharged, four cylinder diesel engine. The engine is paired to a five- speed manual gearbox. Four-wheel drive can be engaged manually via the switchgear provided.

The S4+ is expected to be priced between Rs 40,000 – 50,000.
