Malaysia Airlines revenue increase by 12% in Q2

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines has reported an increase in revenue of 12 percent in the second quarter 2016, the company said.

The company said the load factor was 79.3 percent, a 5.3 percent increase over 74 percent in the previous corresponding quarter. Net operating loss was reduced by 7.0 percent in the second quarter.

The company realized a 14 percent increase in market share in its Kuala Lumpur-London route, growing from 45 percent to 59 percent in the second quarter.
