“This is the first time we have seized ganja and we are still hunting for the owner of the package as we believe he is tied to an arrest” he told a media conference here, today.

In a media conference Chik Omar announced the detention of a 34-year-old Nigerian man at Taman Sentosa flats area in Klang on April 16 with 1.33 kg of syabu worth RM253,080 which were hidden in food tins.

Chik Omar told a media conference today, two more separate cases involved attempts to smuggle in methamphetamine by two male Indian nationals, in their 40s, who arrived from Chennai at KLIA2.

He said an inspection on their baggages found special compartments which were covered with clothes containing methamphetamine, weighing 5.6 kg and 4.82 kg, respectively, worth a total RM1,979,800.

“Although, they denied being acquainted, we believe they know each other based on the design and brand of their bags,” he added.
