HONG KONG: Malaysia’s palm-oil exports rose 1.9% from the previous month to 1.71 million metric tons in October, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board said Wednesday.
The country exported 1.68 million tons of palm oil in September.
In its monthly report, the MPOB said crude-palm-oil output rose 4.0% to 2.0 million tons in October. CPO output totaled 1.96 million tons in September.
Palm-oil stocks rose 7.3% from a month ago to 2.8 million tons in October, up from 2.6 million tons in September.
