BATU PAHAT: Two more men have been arrested on suspicion of selling vape liquid.
A total of 574 bottles of vape liquid were seized from them.
Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Din Ahmad said the two men were arrested at a shop in Taman Bukit Pasir here on Monday.
He said the outlet was also found to be operating illegally and displaying advertisements without valid licences from the local council.
ACP Din said the confiscated liquid was worth about RM28,700.
“We believe the various flavours can cater to about 500 vapers in Batu Pahat for a week,” he said.
The operation was conducted by the district police headquarters’ Narcotics Department on Monday together with the district municipal council, National Anti-Drugs Agency, Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
He urged the public with information about such premises to contact the police at 07-4343 999.
It was reported last Tuesday that four men aged between 23 and 70 were arrested for selling vape liquid believed to contain nicotine at two shops in Johor Baru with the seizure of vape liquid and accessories worth RM380,035.
