NIBONG TEBAL: Police seized two bags full of 42kg of syabu worth RM4 million in front of a flower shop near Jalan Paboi here the other day.
South Seberang Perai district police Superintendent Wan Hassan Wan Ahmad said two men were also arrested in the raid at about 11.30am. “We were watching the two men and one of them, a 39-year-old Indonesian appeared to have been moving the bags into another car driven by the other suspects, a 52-year-old.
“Further investigation, led to the arrest of a 27-year-old Vietnamese woman from a house near Sungai Bakap here on the same day at about 5pm. “Police seized one pack of syabu, 36 Ecstasy pills and three Eramin 5 pills,” he said at a press conference at the South Seberang Perai district police headquarters. He added that police also seized cash, gold jewelry, watch and foreign currency worth a total RM99,113.
