BANJARMASIN: Malaysia’s Criminal Investigation Unit of Kintap Police caught a security guard and his friend for allegedly possessing and using crystal methamphetamine or shabu-shabu here the other day.
“We arrested the two perpetrators as the result of public information which was followed by an investigation by officers in the field,” said Kintap Police Chief Inspector Bayu Aditya in Kintap here the other day.
The two suspect arrested was known initials ND (32) and AZ (16), resident of Tanah Laut.
In the arrest, the police also securing evidence 12.57 grams of shabu-shabu, a set of suck means, two units of HP and boxes to store crysral meth.
“The evidence we have secured and the two suspects had been taken to the police for investigation in order to determine where illicit goods came from,” he said.
From the results of the investigation, the two perpetrators were charged under article 112 jo 114 paragraph 1 of Law No. 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics punishable by a minimum of five years and fines of up to billions of dollars.
