The company said in a statement that the record performance was partly due to strong demand for its first locally assembled vehicle in Malaysia, the Mitsubishi ASX (pic).

The ASX contributed 3,299 units or 23% of MMM’s sales in FY14, while the Triton pick-up truck accounted for 6,016 units or 42% of sales.

Presently, Mitsubishi Motors is represented by 58 showrooms, out of which 51 are 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centres and 54 service outlets in Malaysia.
