In a media statement here, he termed the initiative a timely and constructive step aimed at facilitating result-oriented and conclusive dialogue for a comprehensive settlement of the ongoing Middle East conflict. Pakistan, owing to its balanced foreign policy and credible international standing, is well-positioned to play the role of a neutral mediator.

He said such peace efforts would not only help defuse escalating tensions but also contribute significantly towards ensuring long-term stability and economic prosperity in the region and beyond. Malik added that conflicts in Middle East have far-reaching implications on global trade, energy markets, and economic growth, directly affecting developing countries.

The initiatives promoting dialogue over confrontation must be encouraged, he said and hoped that Pakistan’s diplomatic offer would be positively received by all stakeholders, paving the way for sustainable peace, mutual understanding, and strengthened international cooperation.
