RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled an attempt to smuggle heroin abroad and arrested a passenger at Benazir Bhutto International Airport here.
According to the ANF, a man named Shakil, a resident of Hafizabad, carrying 1.2 kgs of heroin, was about to board a Dubai-bound flight at Benazir Bhutto International Airport. In the meanwhile, he was intercepted and arrested by the force. He also tried to walk away with heroin hidden in his shoes.
The ANF arrested him and recovered the contraband.
