WASHIGTON: A man caught traveling into the U.S. with 29 packages of cocaine appeared in federal court Wednesday and was sentenced to almost four years in prison.
U.S. District Court Judge Diana Saldana sentenced Arturo Martinez-Gonzalez to 46 months in prison for importation of cocaine, a crime punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a possible $1 million fine, according to court records.
