Man, woman found with almost RM50k of drugs

LANGKAWI: Kedah police arrested a man and woman and seized RM48,200 worth of substances believed to drugs here the other day.

Kedah police anti-narcotics chief Superintendant Helmi Aris said the arrest was made about 3pm at a rented room in Ulu Melaka here. He said police found substances believed to be heroin weighing 1.6kg, 60grams of Syabu, two Erimin 5 tablets and 84 methamphetamine pills. “When police raided the room, there were only the two of them.
