Manshah Sukhera elected LTBA new president

LAHORE: Lahore Tax Bar Association (LTBA) has elected M. Mansha Sukhera its new president and office bearers in election 2015-16.

As per details, Mansha won presidential elections by securing 658 votes while opposition candidate could get 400 votes.

Arif Hussain Ejaz secured the seat of vice president with 544 votes; Ch. Qamar-uz-Zaman got 624 votes while contesting election for general secretary seat.

Mirza Mubashar Baig has been elected as finance Secretary with 710 votes while Ali Awan achieved 676 votes against the seat of joint secretary.

The LBTA body has been elected for period on one year.

Outgoing President Aysha Qazi said that bar was doing its best to work for the welfare of the lawyers’ fraternity and the taxpayers.

She said that the LTBA in order to sort out various tax related issue will go every length.
