ManTech awarded $24m border contract with US Customs

WASHINGTON: ManTech International Corporation has won a $24 million contract to develop a service to enhance border security for the Department of Homeland Security.

The firm has been tasked with developing a joint service-oriented architecture prototype integrating operational data for real-time situational awareness to enhance border security

Under the one-year contract with two option years, ManTech will work at various locations in the U.S and at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection headquarters in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be complete in March 2019.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee task order has a 12-month base period of performance and two 12-month option periods, with a potential total value to ManTech of $24M.
