Mahindra is recalling its XUV500 seven-seat SUV due to a potential airbag problem.

Models sold between June 2012 and June 2014 could be affected by a computer fault code, which prevents the curtain airbags from deploying.

A total of 96 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models from 2013 and 2014 are being recalled, due to a potential brake vacuum hose problem.

Jaguar Land Rover is also recalling the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport from 2015 due to an incorrect wire used with the blower motor on right-hand-drive models, and JLR is recalling the same models from 2015 along with the Land Rover Discovery due to a potential weakness with the wheel nuts.

And another recall from JLR, this time for the Land Rover Defender. Selected models may suffer breakages from weak bolts used in front and rear hub assemblies.

Jeep Cherokees from 2014 and 2015 are being recalled, as a software error may cause the side and seat airbags to deploy when not required.

Alfa Romeo Giuliettas from 2013 and 2014 with 2.0 multi-jet engines and TCT transmissions are being recalled.

A problem has been identified with the wiring layout, which may eventually result in a transmission malfunction.

Mercedes-Benz is recalling 2849 vehicles from its E- and CLS-Class ranges, sold between July 2012 and December last year.

The seal on the secondary bulkhead in the engine compartment may come loose and partially fall into the engine compartment.

Mercedes is also recalling 161 of its diesel-powered C-Class models, sold between April 2014 and last month, due to a software error that may see the engine stall during the warm-up phase.

Toyota Klugers built between August and December 2014 are being recalled, due to potential problems with the electric power steering system.

Other recalls include:

  • Can-Am’s Spyder Roadster RT 2013 due to heat issues in the engine compartment.
  • 2015 Indian Scout Motorcycles manufactured before February 27 this year, due to potential rear brake issues.
  • Selected Suzuki Burgman scooters built between December 2013 and January 2015 are being recalled, as they may develop a crack in the muffler body.
  • The relevant manufacturers will attempt to contact affected owners shortly, but any owner wishing to learn more about the latest round of recalls should contact their local dealer.
