KARACHI: Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg decides to provide free internet service for Pakistani citizens through the company’s new initiative Internet.org.
According to reports Facebook’s Internet.org initiative is currently available on Telenor network.
Zuckerberg’s announcement of free internet in Pakistan came on May 27 via a Facebook post.
Internet.org is the latest Facebook enterprise through which the company aims to provide free access to internet in developing countries.
Facebook had earlier launched the service in India and Bangladesh.
