TAIPEI: The Council of Agriculture (COA) has set up an international company to promote Taiwan’s agricultural products in global markets.
Taiwan International Agricultural Development Company, which was officially established Monday, is headed by Chen Yu-jan, a former global president of sales and marketing at New Zealand kiwifruit brand Zespri, according to the COA.
Besides marketing agricultural products, the company will be responsible for exporting Taiwan’s agricultural expertise and making investment overseas, the COA said.
