Maruti Suzuki to introduce highly-anticipated S-Cross tomorrow

NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki, will launch the highly-anticipated S-Cross tomorrow. The exclusive NEXA showroom will sell the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. The company plans to have around 100 dealerships across 30 major cities in India.

The S-Cross will come with two diesel engine options- a  320 DDiS model will get a new 1.6-litre MultiJet diesel engine with a variable turbocharger giving a total output of 118bhp and 320NM of torque. While the other version, the 200 DDiS model gets the 1.3-litre diesel engine, which produces 89bhp and 200Nm of torque.

Moreover, the 320 DDiS model will come with a six-speed manual transmission and has a fuel efficiency of 22.6km/l. On the other hand, the 200 DDiS comes with a five speed manual transmission with a fuel efficiency of 23.65km/l.

The new Maruti S-Cross comes with dual air-bags, all-wheel disc brakes with ABS. The car features Cruise Control, Rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, climate control. The car has 16-inch alloy wheels and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The S-Cross will come with a variety of five exterior colors which include Caffeine Brown, Urban Blue, Pearl Arctic White, Premium Silver and Granite Grey.

Moreover, the new Maruti S-Cross will be sold in 8 different variants – 1.3L Sigma, 1.3L Delta, 1.3L Zeta, 1.3L Aplha, 1.6L Delta, 1.6L Zeta and 1.6L Alpha.

Although, the price for the car was not released by the company, it is expected to come in the price range of Rs 8 lakh – Rs 11 lakh (ex showroom Delhi). The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross will be sold through the NEXA showrooms.
