AUCKLAND: Judges describe Mazda3 outstanding all rounder car, New Zealand Motoring Writers’ Guild’s Car of the Year 2014.
The award, announced in Auckland, is the second of New Zealand’s two major motoring awards with the Peugeot 308 named the AMI Insurance NZ Auto car of the Year.
In tonight’s awards, the Mazda3 beat nine other finalists, including six SUVs and a performance car, to win the top award. The NZ Auto car Awards were conducted under a different organization with judges saying the 308 was a well conceived and delivered package.
New Zealand Motoring Writers’ Guild NZMWG and AA motoring experts considered styling, comfort, performance, and economy, handling build quality and finish, value for money and the x factor.
