MCC AB Section earns Rs528000 more CD during November

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Accompanied Baggage (AB) Section of the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad received Rs528000 extra revenue against the assigned revenue collection target of Customs Duty during the month of November Financial Year 2017-18.

According to details explained by the official sources of the AB that performance was satisfactory during the month of November FY17-18. Sources added that the AB was allocated a revenue collection target of Rs2.00million as Customs Duty (CD) whereas it generated Rs2.528million of CD. The AB earned Rs1.77million as CD during the same period of previous FY16-17.
The sources notify that, during above said period, the AB showed 126.40% revenue achievement against the assigned revenue collection target of CD for the month of November FY17-18. Sources added that the Customs AB Section seized $40,000 of currency during the month of November FY17-18.
Sources told CT that, under the leadership of Saeed Khan Jadoon, Collector Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad, the AB will not only achieve its earmarked revenue target of CD during 2nd Quarter (October to December) but also surpassed the allocated revenue target as CD for said period.
