13 fabric importers booked by MCC Appraisement-West

KARACHI: FBR Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) of Appraisement-West has booked 13 importers on misdeclaration of textile fabric and prepared 54 contravention reports (CRs) against them.

According to details, the MCC Appraisement–West prepared 28 contravention reports against M/s Vital Industries, six contravention reports against M/s Omron Industries, four contravention reports against M/s Ehsan Enterprises, three against A K Fashion Apparel, three against Shan Associates, two against Country Care Traders, two against Poly top Industries and one contravention each against N K Enterprises, Bashu Impex, Al-Imdad Enterprises, M A Enterprises, Klassic Industries and Samad Enterprises.

It may be mentioned here that the MCC-Appraisement -West has forwarded contravention reports to the Collectorate of Customs Adjudication for further legal formalities.

A source from Pakistan Customs tipped of Customs Today that the Collectorate of Customs Adjudication has prepared show-cause notices against the importers and will be issued to the defaulter parties in the next week.
