MCC-Appraisement West starts series of auctions at different terminals

KARACHI: On the directives of the Collector Muhammad Saleem, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West) has started auctioning of leftover/fresh general cargo and vehicles at different terminals as per schedule in the month of March.

The first auction of leftover/fresh general cargo and vehicles started on March 3, scheduled to end on March 11 at West Wharf.

Similarly, another auction of leftover/ fresh general cargo and vehicles is to be held from March 12 to March 20 at Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT), West Wharf.

Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West) shall hold an auction for general cargo and vehicles from March 21 to March 26 at AICT, while the auction of the same commodities and vehicles would be scheduled at BOML from March 23 to March 31.

It may be mentioned here that MCC-Appraisement (West) Collector Muhammad Saleem has already decided to end the process of auction by the end of May to increase the revenue generation in the remaining months of the current fiscal year.
