ISLAMABAD: Model Customs Collectorate Assistant Collector has seized a smuggled Toyota land cruiser and the case has been sent to the Customs Collectorate Adjudication Collector Seema Raza Bukhari. The Collector has issued show cause notice to the owner Sardar Adnan Rafique. The car was seized from Rawalpindi and seized under the Customs Act 1969, section 171 as the documents were fake. The owner presented the documents to Customs Superintendent Zargham Dil who sent a letter to the Headquarter of Frontier Corps. The documents were found fake after confirmation and Collector Seema finally issued show cause notice to the owner and ordered him to appear before court on February 11.
