Lahore Customs Preventive to increase liaison among border agencies

LAHORE: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Lahore Preventive will hold a conference to increase liaison among the agencies working at the border areas, sources told Customs Today here on Wednesday.

The sources said that MCC Collector of Customs Mukarram Jah Ansari has been made focal person to increase liaison among the agencies, including Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), National Logistic Cell (NLC), Rangers and Immigration.

They added that issues relating to boarders area including Torkhuam, Sust, Taftan and Wagah Border in Lahore.

The first conference which will discuss issue relating to border and protection of border is said to be held in the current month.

The source added that the conference will discuss ideas and will prepare proposal to implement the ideas extendent by all the agencies working on the boarders of the country.
