ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) has decided to sell all the products that have not been auctioned.
The products include cosmetics, imported cloth and other items.
Deputy Collector Yawar Nawaz has prepared a proposal in this regard, which will now be presented to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
According to the proposal, the products seized by the Pakistan Customs will be sent to the Canteen Stores Department (CSD). The products will be sold to the CSD on reserve price, which later on can suggest the price for further sale.
The authorities concerned were not ready to sell the products on rates less than the reserve price.
Therefore, Collector Yawar suggested selling the products with proper planning and strategy.
