Multan Customs collects Rs 7.734 billion customs duty in fiscal year 2014-15‏

MULTAN:  Multan Customs have collected the overall customs duty of Rs 7734.501 million throughout the economic year 2014.-15.

The model of Customs Collectorate Multan has collected the customs duty from the various sectors in the financial year 2014-15.Customs Authorities have collected customs duty of Rs 420.846 million from Multan Dry Port during the first 11 months of the existing monetary year 2014-15.

Multan Dry Port have generated customs duty of almost Rs 35.402 million in the month of May from the various import consignments .The Multan Dry Port have collected highest amount of Rs 63.129 million in the month of November during the course of fiscal year 2014-15. The Multan Dry Port have witnessed the collection of customs duty of Rs 420.846 million from the import of goods in the first eleven months of the fiscal year 2014-15.

Multan Customs have collected the customs duty of Rs 0.351 million in the first eleven months of the fiscal year 2014-15. Due to construction of International Airport at the Multan the volume of customs duty will increase very soon due to promotion of goods import and export.

Customs Authorities have collected the Customs duty of Rs 1.091 million from the General Post Office Multan in the first eleven months of the fiscal year 2014-15.

Customs Department have collected the revenue of Customs duty Rs 0.003 million from the International Airport Dera Ghazi Khan up to the month of May in the economic year 2014-15.

International Airport Rahim Yar Khan has generated the customs duty of Rs 0.020 million throughout the current financial year 2014-15.

Customs Department Multan has not collected any customs duty tax up till now in the existing fiscal year 2014-15.

The MCC Multan have earned the Rs 0.783 million of Customs duty by handling cargo of the total international flights operated from the jurisdiction in the first eleven months of the current economic year 2014-15.

Customs have generated the major portion of Customs duty Rs 7311.430 million from the Pak Arab Refinery Company limited during the existing economic year of 2014-15.The MCC Multan have collected Rs 1130.430 million of Customs duty from the Pak Arab Refinery Company Limited in the month of May in the present fiscal year 2014-15.

The MCC Multan has generated the Customs duty of Rs 7734.501 million upto May 2015 of the current fiscal year 2014-15. The collected customs duty includes the revenue from South Punjab including Dry Port Multan, air freight unit, general post office, international airport Dera Ghazi Khan, international airport Multan, international Rahim Yar Khan , international Airport Bahawalpur and Pak Arab Refinery Company Limited Muzaffargarh.
