Multan Customs collects revenue of Rs 2191.581m in July

MULTAN: The Model Customs Collectorate Multan has collected Rs 2191.581 million during the month of July, 2015.

The Model Customs Collectorate Multan has collected the customs duty of Rs 237.471 million during the first month of fiscal year 2015-16. During the last fiscal year 2014-15, the MCC Multan had collected Rs 166.824 million customs duty. The Model Customs Collectorate Multan has witnessed increase in collection up to 42.35 percent as compared to previous fiscal year 2014-15.

Almost Rs 1905.25 million sales taxes have collected by the model of customs collectorate Multan from the import and export of goods in the month of July, 2015. The Model of Customs Collectorate Multan had collected the Rs 1630.793 million during the Julyof the monetary year 2014-15.

Just about Rs 13.16 million of revenue has generated from the import and export consignment throughout the July in the fiscal year 2015-16. Federal excise duty has drop 23.38 percent with the collection of Rs 18.371 million by assessment of previous July of financial year 2014-15.

The model of Customs Collectorate Multan has composed the collection of Rs 35.70 million withholding taxes for the period of July in the current fiscal year 2015-16.  Nearly 6.70% increase has been observed in the collection of withholding taxes in the month of July from the previous fiscal year 2014-15.

The model of Customs Collectorate Multan has overall collected taxes of Rs 2191.581 million during the month of July in the present fiscal year. However, the model of Customs Collectorate Multan collected almost Rs 1849.869 million during the month of July in the previous fiscal year 2014-15. The model of Customs Collectorate Multan is the third biggest customs Collectorate in terms of revenue generation after Karachi and Lahore.
