Customs collectorate Port Bin Qasim assigned Rs 315.8b revenue target for FY 2015-16

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has given revenue collection target of Rs 315.8 billion to the Model Customs Collectorate Port Muhammad Bin Qasim for the FY 2015-16.

According to details available with Customs Today, the MCC PMBQ would collect Rs 92.7 billion as customs duty (CD), Rs 177.4 billion as sales tax (ST), Rs 7.0 billion as federal excise duty (FED) and Rs 38.6 billion as withholding tax (WHT).

The MCC PMBQ been given target to collect Rs 5.3 billion as CD, Rs 13.8 billion as ST, Rs 714.70 million as FED and Rs 2.8 billion as WHT in the month of July. In August, Rs 6.6 billion as CD, Rs 17.7 billion as ST, Rs 1.3 billion as FED and Rs 3.6 billion as WHT. In September, Rs 7.19 billion as CD, Rs 17.1 billion as ST, Rs 1.2 billion as FED and Rs 3.8 billion as WHT. In October, Rs 6.6 billion as CD, Rs 13.8 billion as ST, Rs 1.3 billion as FED and Rs 3.2 billion as WHT. In November, Rs 6.8 billion as CD, Rs 14.2 billion as ST, Rs 566.04 million as FED and Rs 3.07 billion as WHT. In December, Rs 7.5 billion as CD, Rs 14.3 billion as ST, Rs 252.55 million as FED and Rs 3.4 billion as WHT. In January 2016, Rs 6.973.50 billion as CD, Rs 11.2 billion as ST, Rs 223.45 million as FED and Rs 2.774.51 billion as WHT. In February, Rs 6.816.81 billion as CD, Rs 12.01 billion as ST, Rs 197.93 million as FED and Rs 2,437.09 million as WHT. In March, Rs 8.04 billion as CD, Rs 13.6 billion as ST, Rs 279.40 million as FED and Rs 2.9 billion as WHT. In April, Rs 8.443.76 billion as CD, Rs 15.01 billion as ST, Rs 239.42 million as FED and Rs 2.9 billion as WHT. In May, Rs 9.5 billion as CD, Rs 16.2 billion as ST, Rs 268.51 million as FED and Rs 3.3 billion as WHT. While in June, Rs 12.7 billion as CD, Rs 18.2 billion as ST, Rs 390.49 million as FED and Rs 3.9 billion as WHT.
