He said on the occasion that government should announce three flights in a week for the export of fruits and vegetables which will boost the export of south Punjab. Wide Craft body aircraft is the need of the hour for the export of various items from the Multan International Airport. Passengers’ flights are also not available at the Multan International Airport due to fewer flights so giving wide body aircraft will fulfil the shortage of flights at the Multan International Airport.

He also demanded that the scanners should be installed at the cargo section for the security purposes to ensure the safety of the exporters at the Multan International Airport.

President Mian Iqbal Hussain stated that the Multan International Airport should be given equal quota of flights like Karachi and Lahore for the better export volume.
