MCCI plays  dynamic role in economic development of  workers: Fareed Shaikh

MULTAN: The Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has been playing a dynamic role in the economic development of skilled workers of South Punjab, the chamber’s president said here on the visit of a blue pottery workshop of a local craftman.

The President of MCCI Fareed Mughees Shaikh said the chamber has been doing utmost efforts to save the cultural heritage of the region accompanying to appreciate achievements of the skilled families attached  to the industry of blue pottery.

He also said that the MCCI has not only been working for the growth of trade and industry but also attempting for improvement of the skilled class of the region so that they can play a driving role in the economic development of the country.

The chamber’s President made a visit of a workshop of a local craftman Muhammad Wajid  located on Masoom Shah road and also observed the different phases of preparation of blue pottery products. Amara Manzoor, Khurram Javed and Abdul Rehman Naqqash were also accompanying with him during the visit.
