MDA discusses pre-budget proposals

MULTAN: Multan Development Authority (MDA) officials reviewed pre-budget proposals in a meeting held here.

The meeting was chaired by Additional Director General MDA Rana Rizwan Qadeer and attended by Director Finance and Administration Mian Salahuddin, Director Town Planning Khalid Javed, Director Engineering Nazeer Ahmed Chughtai, Director State and Land Management Musa Khan and other officers.

The meeting participants deliberated on income and expenditures for Year 2018-19. It proposed to earmark Rs927.971 million for ongoing expenditures and Rs1124.692 million for schemes including Fatima Jinnah Phase I, Fatima Jinnah Phase II, Multan Model Town.

However, Rs2822.249 million were proposed for Metro Multan, widening of road from Dera Adda to MDA Chowk, Shamasabad to Rasheedabad, Dera Adda to Aziz Hotel Chowk, and development work on Northern and Southern bypasses.
