TUNIS: Customs guard services in Medenine arrested three extremists who illegally entered the Tunisian territory, the customs said in a press release.
The same source said a customs guard patrol in Medenine has intercepted three Tunisian extremists in the region of “Karkata,” in the desert.
Preliminary investigations indicate they entered Tunisia illegally and one of them is wanted in a terrorism case.
After co-ordination with the Public Prosecutor in Medenine, suspects were brought before special security services in Ben Guerdane, reads the press release.
