DUBLIN: More than 250 jobs have been announced across Ireland involving a range of technology and sports companies.
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton said that 185 jobs are to be created in Dublin and Wexford in five US companies and one European-based high growth company.
The jobs are spread across a number of sectors including technology, business analytics and medical devices.
NuoDB is opening its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) development centre in Dublin as well as a new office in Belfast.
It plans to recruit a number of developers, engineers and tech support professionals in Europe over the next three years, including 50 in Dublin and 20 in Belfast.
Megatransfert SAS, a French FinTech company is creating 20 jobs. It specialises in micropayments via prepaid cards and e-money solutions.
Thirty jobs are being created by Artisan Infrastructure, which has announced it is to establish its EMEA headquarters in Dublin.
Meanwhile, 30 jobs are being created by DataClarity over two years in Dublin in an ICT capacity.
Medical device manufacturer CRI is creating 25 jobs over the next three years at its Wexford facility, while 30 jobs have been announced by New York-based Modern Marketing Concepts, which is establishing its EMEA headquarters in Sandyford in Dublin.
