BAHAWALPUR: Minister for Industries and Production, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar has said mega projects of Bahawalpur Industrial Estate will soon be completed as work is in progress.
Addressing a function at Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bahawalpur he said these projects will boost the industrial activities in South Punjab.
He said due to positive economic policies of the PTI government, GDP growth remained four percent and next year s target has been set at five percent.
He said for the smooth distribution of electricity to the three districts of Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalnagar, Multan Electric Power Company is being divided in to two companies.
Punjab Finance Minister, Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht addressing the function said for the first time in the country s history separate annual development programme has been developed for the uplift of South Punjab.
