Member Customs presides over passing-out of 163 Hawaldars & sepoys

ISLAMABAD: The Member Customs Federal Board of Revenue will preside over a passing-out ceremony of 163 Hawaldar and sepoys at the Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad on Today (Friday). The event will be supervised by MCC and Directorate of Training (DoT) Islamabad.

According to Shahrukh Butt, Customs House Officer (CHO), the Collector MCC, Member HRM, Member Customs, Zahid Kokuhar, will address the passing-out of new appointees. The event will start from 10:00 am and continue till 1:00 pm.

The Hawaldars and sepoys had been trained by the Frontier Constabulary for a month whereas new sepoys had been trained under the supervision of the MCC Islamabad for three months.

The new appointees have come from different stations i.e. 58 from MCC Islamabad and 45 from MCC Peshawar and 30 from Customs Intelligence Peshawar and 30 from Customs Intelligence Islamabad.

At the end of the ceremony the news appointees will be given certificates by Member Customs. Electronic and print media have been invited to attend the event. Refreshment will be served to the new appointees at the end of the function.
