Member Customs’ visit to Karachi postponed

KARACHI: Member Customs Nisar Muhammad’s 3-day visit to Karachi Customs House has been postponed.

The Member Customs has delayed his Karachi visit due to his busy schedule and briefed the federal cabinet about the revenue generation by Pakistan Customs.

Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and other cabinet members after their recent visit to United States of America asked the Member Customs and other FBR high officials including FBR Chairman to give them detailed briefing about the revenue generation.

The sources said that FBR Chairman along with Member Customs is expected to visit Customs House, Karachi in the first week of upcoming month.
