Member FBR Dr Irshad reviews revenue collection status of RTOs

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Member Operations Dr Mohammad Irshad chaired a meeting in Regional Tax Office to review revenue collection measures adopted by Regional Tax Offices.

The meeting was attended nine chief commissioner of Regional Tax Offices.

The Chief Commissioner of Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) Tasneem Rehman, Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II), Chief Commissioner Large Tax Payers Unit (LTU) Chaudahry Safder Hussain and Chief Commissioner of Regional Tax Office Gujranwala, Multan, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sialkot and Bahawalpur also participated in the meeting.

According to the source, Member Operations of Federal Board of Revenue has directed all chief commissioners to ensure the tax collection target set for current fiscal year. He also lauded the outstanding performance of RTO staff in collection of revenue. He said that RTOs already achieved their targets set for them on monthly basis and he is quite optimistic that they will achieve the yearly revenue collection target.
