Member Irshad says FBR to pay pending ST refunds by Aug 31

KARACHI: Member Inland Revenue (Operations) Dr Muhammad Irshad Khan has said that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will pay pending sales tax refunds by August 31, 2016 after complete examination of claims.

The member said this after inaugurating the Officers Mess at Regional Tax Office (RTO) – III Karachi. He said that on the instruction of Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the FBR was ensuring to pay the genuine refunds.
