LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Member Operations Dr Irshad has inaugurated new cabins for officers and National Tax Number (NTN) Registrations Cell in Regional Tax Office –II (RTO-II).
The Member Operations visited the Regional Tax Office-II and inaugurated the new cabins and the National Tax Number (NTN) Registration Cell on the first floor. Already nine cabins are converted into five large size cabins, providing better environment to the officers. Officers feel comfortable in these cabins.
In the RTO-I the size of National Tax Number (NTN) registration cell was very small that’s create problems for the taxpayers but now the size has been expanded.
Before this there were two units and one Local Registration Officer (LRO) in the RTO but now six units and two LRO provide services to the taxpayers for the registration of new taxpayers and increase the tax net.
Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office –II Khawaja Adnan Zaheer told Customs Today that after the separation of corporate and non corporate taxpayers 0.45 million taxpayers transferred from RTO-I to RTO-II to facilitate taxpayers the size of NTN cell was small but now the size of NTN cell has expanded and now taxpayers will avail more service facilities by the RTO.
He said chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Nisar Muhammad, Member Operations Dr Irshad and all other officers of FBR are very cooperative with the RTO-II and always solve problems on priorities basis.
‘’ RTO-II officers always ready and available to provide services to the taxpayers, peoples can visit office any time, he added.
