MULTAN: The Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) completed 31 electricity projects with Rs 1.74 billion to provide uninterrupted power supply to consumers.
According to official sources, the company in collaboration with the Asian Development bank and the World Bank had completed various projects to address tripping complaints and provision of power supply to consumers with better voltage in the summer season.
The projects were completed at those areas where the system was overloaded and consumers were facing low voltage and tripping complaints.
The company was continuously enhancing its capacity of distribution system with a rapid pace to meet increasing load and energy needs, the sources concluded.
