SYDNEY: Mercedes-Benz has all set to launch it new C Class Coupe at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Like the previous model of C-Class coupe, the new model should resemble the sedan very closely, just with two less doors and a sleeker profile. It should also resemble its larger brother, the S-Class Coupe.
As of now, it appears a droptop version should also surface. But what shouldn’t be a surprise is the expectation for the same use of powertrains and transmissions as the sedan.
Report from Autocar, who have recently spoken to Mercedes-Benz’s design chief Gorden Wagener, the model in question will make its debut, in September, this autumn, at the German automotive event.
The design of the new C-Class will include different styling for the front and for the rear, comes as two door version is promising a sleeker look which should surpass that of its larger brother, the Mercedes S-Class Coupe. The car also will be keeping its long hood and short rear deck to emphasize the rear-wheel drive architecture, a multinational division of the German manufacturer Daimler AG is also planning a convertible version.
Talk about interior, Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe will remain unchanged mostly. Yes, it’s will be new, except for some small bits.
While, the car engine will be carried over from the current model, also include the new 4.0 liter V8 twin turbo engine C63 AMG Coupe version, fight for BMW M4 Coupe. More details on the new C-Class Coupe are limited at this time, so, wait until Frankfurt Motor Show 2015, in September.
