DOWNEY: A teaser of the all-new Mercedes-Benz SL has been released by the German carmaker with the coupe set to make its international debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show this November. Mercedes-Benz has only released one image which shows the front fascia of the car, with the updated front end more aggressive in its looks and also sporting a diamond grille.

Although the new Mercedes-Benz SL will be a minor facelift in comparison to the outgoing model, it will reportedly get a few upgrades to its interior and its infotainment system. However, the company hasn’t released any details about the changes made to the interiors.

The new model is expected to get the same engines which power the current car – the V6 and the V8. The V6 produces 333bhp and 480Nm of torque, while the V8 has an output of 455bhp and 700Nm of torque. The engines will be mated to Mercedes’s 7G-TRONIC PLUS 7-speed automatic transmission in the rear-wheel drive coupe.

The Mercedes-Benz SL hasn’t been launched in India yet and it remains to be seen whether the luxury carmaker will bring the new model into the country.
