NEW DELHI : The messenger app Viber has launched ‘Viber Games’. Currently it has introduced three games named as Viber Pop, Viber Candy Mania and Wildluck Casino.
The company has partnered withgame developers including Storm8 and Playtika to bring unique gaming experiences to the platform. It featured Viber characters and exclusive content.
Viber currently has three games which are standalone apps you can download from the Play Store or iTunes and the games also link up to Viber to let users share scores, battle and generally interact with friends on the service. The three games available now are Viber Pop, Viber Candy Mania and Wildluck Casino.
Viber’s games also feature in-app purchases for additional items, and could spell big business for the company which also gets revenues from international calling packages and stickers.
“Viber Games is the latest feature in our ongoing enhancement of the Viber platform.Whether users are bragging about their achievements, sending gifts or simply checking out what their friends are playing, Viber Games is another engaging way for people to connect within the app,” said Michael Shmilov, Viber’s COO of the company.
