HONG KONG: A research expert has claimed the world could still end because of a catastrophic meteor impact next week – despite NASA’s claims to the contrary.
It is claimed a plethora of horrors will rain down and ravage the planet including meteor strikes, earthquakes and tsunamis, with some even suggesting a torrent from Almighty God himself.
The origins of the claim come from self-proclaimed prophet Efrain Rodriguez, who has passed his research onto NASA.
It is claimed that disaster looms when a lunar eclipse – which last took place in April 2014 – is followed by six full moons.
He says he had a vision of the asteroid “entering the airspace of the town of Arecibo in Puerto Rico, striking the sea between the island of Mona and Mayaguez and triggering a magnitude 12 earthquake”.
NASA indicates that if there was any object large enough to do the type of destruction in September indicated by claims across the blogs and web postings, we would have seen it by now.
Conspiracy theorists still haven’t pin pointed when earth’s final day will come – insisting it could be anywhere from the 22 to the 28 September.
Professor Robert Walsh, executive director of research at The University of Central Lancashire tapped into his extensive knowledge to put some historical context to this upcoming phenonmenon.
Walsh said: “What you may not realise is that Earth is hit with about a hundred tons of extraterrestrial material every day!
“However, this debris is in the form of numerous small rocks, the majority of which burn up in the planet’s atmosphere.
