Mianwali ASO seizes smuggled accessories

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has seized foreign origin smuggled accessories during a crackdown.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Collector ASO Mianwali Falik Shair received secret information regarding a smuggling attempt. He formed a ASO team comprising Naeemur Rehman (Superintendent), Asif Hussain, Munir Ahmad (inspectors), Ghulam Mohyuddin, Faiz Ahmad (sepoys).

The ASO Mianwali intercepted a truck bearing registeration No. RIN 3990 near Toll Plaza M.M Road Mainwali and recovered accessories.

The ASO taem asked accused person who was identified as Shahzad son of Meer Zaman to produce legal documents regarding possession of accessories but he failed to provide any evidence. The ASO team seized the accessories and registered a case of smuggling against accused person.
