Micromax Canvas Hue, a 30-day battery backup smartphone launched for Rs 10,999

KOLKATA: Micromax has launched the all-new Canvas Hue in India for Rs 10,999. The highlight of the smartphone is its 30-day battery backup claim by the company.

The smartphone sports a 5-inch AMOLED HD display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against minor scratches. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. The device also gets an8MP auto focus rear camera with Sony sensor and a 2MP front-facing camera.

The device runs Android KitKat 4.4.2 and will be upgradeable to Android Lollipop 5.0 through FOTA soon. The Canvas Hue is a dual-SIM smartphone with a plethora of special themes. It comes equipped with 8GB onboard storage with expandable memory up to 32GB. The 3000mAh battery completes the package.

The Canvas Hue will be available dipped in white and gold colours. The smartphone will be available in online as well as offline stores starting January 16.
