New Delhi: Now there are reports that Micromax the Indian smartphone major is coming out with a new affordable smartphone the Canvas Spark in India on April 21. “Be the first to get your hands on the Micromax Canvas Spark! Join us for an electrifying get together and witness the reveal of this exciting gadget!” says the company’s media invite.
It seems that the company is going to ally with Snapdeal as the teaser was released on it for the new Android handset from Micromax. Rumors suggest that the new Micromax Canvas Spark will have 4.7-inch display and price tag under Rs 6,000. It is expected to take on the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 and the new Motorola Moto E. It should come with 8 mega pixel camera to be able to compete with other hot-selling handsets in the market.
Snapdeal’s active participation in promoting the yet-to-be-launched phone hints at its exclusive tie-up with Micromax for selling it online.
