Micromax unveils 4k UHD Android based TV, 42 inch in Rs 39,990, 49 inch in Rs 49,990 in India

MUMBAI: Micromax has unveiled 4K Ultra High Definition televisions based on Android KitKat 4.4 operating System with sizes of 42-inch and 49-inch at Rs 39,990 and Rs 49,990 respectively. The new TVs will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting March 12.

The 49-inch variant runs on Android Kitkat 4.4 OS and comes preloaded with Google Play Store. With built-in WiFi, users can browse Internet, watch online videos and run applications. Its Smart Somato-sensory remote let users scroll through the menu as an Air Mouse or via voice commands and play pre-loaded motion sensors games, doubling it as game controller. By using the M! Screen feature, users can multitask, customise, share data on a home network via DLNA by pairing their smartphone/tablet with the television.

Rounding off the UHD screen are the box speakers which offers SRS sound system and 5 band equalizer.
