NEW YORK: Microsoft launched Office 2016 this Tuesday for Windows Desktop. More than a billion people use MS Office across the globe. It’s one of the major revenue channels of the company and one of the most popular productivity suites. A new version of the office suite is released every three years. It is the oldest and most dominant player in the market, but today faces competition from rivals like Drive suit from Google, LibreOffice and OpenOffice. These alternatives offer most of the MS Office’s features for free. Once again to leave behind its competitors, Microsoft has added 10 new features to Office 2016.
