Time is of the essence when taking pictures. Often, users need to shoot a photograph within seconds. The new Lumia Camera application makes it possible. The application starts in a millisecond, and users can take multiple photos within just milliseconds break between snaps.

Moment Capture

Aside from taking photos in a millisecond, users also need to start recording videos quickly. For example, new mommies love to photograph the first step or the first smile of their babies. But often, those moments pass by the time users start the video recording mode. With the new moment capture feature, Microsoft Lumia users can start the 4K video recording with just long press on the application. As a bonus, frames are captured at high quality, which means every frame can also be saved as an image.

Image Processing Algorithms

Microsoft has updated the image processing algorithms. This ensures users get clear photos, no matter the condition. Even in low light conditions, the camera takes clear photos.

Rich Capture

Users can now shoot first, and then update the camera settings and adjust them accordingly. With the Rich Capture feature, users get Auto HDR and Dynamic Flash in the auto mode.

Integration

It is all about integrating and syncing other applications together. With the Lumia Camera, Microsoft goes a step further. The company integrates the application with Lumia Video Trimmer and Lumia Creative Studio. This ensures users get a ton of editing and customization options for their videos and pictures.
